Since 2012 I have been producing zines. They include Make It Work (a DIY fat positive fashion and craft zine), Hard Femme (a perzine about intersections of fatness, femme identity, class, trauma and histories), and Move Under Yr Own Power (a compilation zine of interviews with women and queers who make DIY music). My zines all explore intersections of identity, cultures, histories and craft and you can buy them online here.
In June 2021 I self-published a compilation book of my zine and blog work called From the Gut: Collected Zine Writings. The book is stocked in selected independent bookshops, and can be bought online here.
As a zine maker I have run workshops for libraries, heritage services and arts organisations including UCL, National Science and Media Museum, Central St Martins, the National Trust and Mesmac’s West Yorkshire Queer Stories project. Get in touch via email to discuss any opportunities you may have available and find out about existing workshop packages here.
